a) mesh 1: -10 + 2i1 + 16(i1 – i2) = 0 mesh 2: 16(i2 – i1) + 12i2 + 4i∆ = 0
mesh 3: -4 + 5i∆ + 3i∆ = 0
Thus, we get the following:
18i1 – 16i2 = 10 8i∆ = 4
Solving the system we get:
i∆ = 0.5 A; i1 = 1 A; i2 = 0.5 A
V0 = 16(i1 – i2) = 16 (0.5) = 8 V
b) P4i∆ = 4i∆ i2 = 4(0.5)(- 0.5) = - 1 W (delivered) |
